If I defer my ticket or participate in a program, will the incident show up in reports run by insurance companies?
If you do something special when you receive a speeding ticket so that you don’t get points on your license, this moving violation can still show up on reports run by insurance companies. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it always does. Insurance applications commonly include a question asking if you had any tickets (typically in the last five years) so you will need to answer that question to the best of your knowledge.
